# Portfolio yield

## 36. Auto Yield Optimization Vaults — Accurate Risk Labels

AI-managed vaults accept deposits and autonomously maximize returns within user-defined risk parameters. All yield rates shown are **7-day averages alongside 30-day averages and 90-day min/max ranges** — never a single static APY figure.

| Strategy | Chain | Risk Rating | Risk Explanation |
| ---------------- | -------- | -------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Aave USDC Supply | Ethereum | 🟢 LOW | Overcollateralized lending. Smart contract risk only. |
| Curve 3Pool LP | Ethereum | 🟢 LOW | Stablecoin-only pool. Smart contract + depeg risk. |
| ONEx USDC/ETH LP | Arbitrum | 🟡 MEDIUM | Impermanent loss risk from ETH price movements. |
| Pendle PT-USDC | Ethereum | 🟡 LOW-MEDIUM | Fixed yield, principal protected at expiry. Protocol risk. |
| Ethena sUSDe | Ethereum | 🟠 MEDIUM-HIGH | Yield is funding rate dependent — can approach 0% or go negative in bear markets. Peg stress risk. |
| GMX GLP | Arbitrum | 🔴 HIGH | LP acts as COUNTERPARTY to perpetual traders. APY is variable and can be significantly negative. Not suitable as a stable yield strategy. |

## 37. Sovereign Yield Tranching

ONEx introduces yield tranching — splitting protocol yield into risk tiers so conservative and aggressive users can participate in the same liquidity pool according to their own risk preference.

| Tranche | Risk / Return Profile | Priority |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------- |
| **Senior Tranche** | First to be paid from protocol yield. Lowest yield, highest certainty. Absorbs no losses until junior and mezzanine are exhausted. | Paid First |
| **Mezzanine Tranche** | Moderate yield. Absorbs losses after junior tranche is exhausted. Buffer between senior and risk. | Paid Second |
| **Junior Tranche** | Highest potential yield. First to absorb losses. Suitable only for high risk tolerance users who understand they may lose principal. | Paid Last / Absorbs First |
